Great question! You really hit on the crux of the problem. How do we get young people involved in aviation, in this high-tech, instant gratification world? The more I think about this, and attend gatherings like Oshkosh, the more I think that EAA may be on to something. They have the Young Eagle program for giving children their first flights. Great idea for young kids, plants a seed with them. Maybe we come up with ways to get teens and adults into the cockpit. This may be the key.
